Privacy Policy

Who we are

Harman Handyman, 85 Mountain Way Dr, Orem, UT 84058, phone (801) 877-1690. This policy covers harmanhandyman.com only.

What we collect

What you send through the quote form or the Harman Helper: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the address of the job, your company name if it is a business, when you need the work done, whether you have used us before, who referred you if you say, and your description of the work.
Photos, if you choose to attach them: your browser makes each photo smaller before it is sent, which also removes any location data stored in it. Photos are emailed to us with your request and are not stored on this website.
Sent along with each request: the page you sent it from, the time, and your IP address, which we use to screen out automated spam.
When you browse the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, recording IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, as almost every website host does.

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking. A one-way scrambled form of your IP address is used to stop the same visitor sending the form many times in a row. It cannot be turned back into the address.

How we use it

To reply to your request by phone, text or email, and to quote, schedule and carry out the work you asked about.
Unless you ask us not to, we may email you about our services in future. You can opt out at any time by calling or emailing us.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who else handles it

Only as needed to get your request to us and act on it:

Our website provider, which built and maintains this site, runs the system that delivers your request to us. It also keeps a backup copy of each request for 90 days, in a spreadsheet hosted by Google, so none is lost if an email fails.
The software we use to quote and schedule jobs, where your details may be recorded.
Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, as loading any web font does.

Nobody else sees it, unless the law requires us to share it.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to quote, do and follow up the work, and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, unless we need to keep a record of work done or an invoice.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emails from us, get in touch either way:

Call or text (801) 877-1690 Email thedripstopshere@gmail.com

Security

This website is only served over an encrypted connection, and the quote form never shows anything you typed back to anyone. This website does not take payments.

In short

Harman Handyman uses the details you send through its quote form and Harman Helper only to reply to you and do the work. Harman Handyman never sells or rents them. The site sets no cookies and runs no tracking.
